Ant Shannon. Creative Director.
Ant became ECD of Clemenger BBDO Melbourne in 1997.
Under his guidance, the agency saw one of its most highly awarded periods, ranked in the top ten agencies worldwide. Producing many iconic Australian campaigns such as ‘Not Happy Jan‘.
He was ranked second on the list of top Australian Creative Directors for three years by Campaign Brief magazine.
Ant has been creative director of thirteen Cannes Lions awards.
He has directed many of his own commercials including iconic ads for Just Jeans and was ranked in the top 5 of directors in Australia.
In 2003, Ant started his own creative agency Creativ clients such as Holeproof, Portmans, Sakata and The Victorian Government.
In 2005, Ant became ECD of Grey Australia / NZ.
With awards at Cannes, D&AD & One Show, Grey moved into the top ten agencies in Australia.
Ant initiated the Grey Asia Pacific Creative Council and helped form Grey’s Global Creative Council.
In 2011 Ant was CD on the TAC Ripple Effect campaign,
which won a Silver Lion in the coveted integrated category.
Ant recently started his own creative consultancy, Shannon & Co.
Shannon & Co. recently completed successful campaigns for Leggos, John West & Kmart.
